Back home from Northwest Leather Conference (NWLC). We almost missed our flight due to mistranslation between Central time and Pacific time. Our 3:50 flight really took off at 1:50. Fortunately,
my attention to detail OCD about making sure I don’t miss flights revealed the error and off we dashed to the airport. We made it and enjoyed an upgrade to Economy Plus. The second leg of our trip was hellish, in the cattle car seats, jam-packed and a full flight. Finally to bed at 1:30am after a weekend of not sleeping and then back up at 7:30am for work and more dealing with the aftermath of our basement flooding.
Then comes event drop – where we miss being with our friends and M/s, leather families and on top of that, just general crabbiness…
I will give my slave a lot of props for putting up with the crabby Master today. I’m sure service to me was not easy. I never promised an easy road, but she sticks true to her word and serves me well.
The good parts will come as we catch up on sleep… except just in time for IML (International Mr Leather) to hit Chicago. The weekend whirlwind begins again.
*sigh* I didn’t want sleep.
