[M/s 365] Riding together

IMG_2397-1It may have only been for 30 minutes or so, but slave angie and I managed to sneak a ride in on the Harley. Out of all the things that have taken a backseat, so to speak, for our title year, riding together has been one of the biggest things that we’ve both missed. Our travel just hasn’t worked out, so far, to where we can ride to an event. We may manage to do that for the upcoming Great Lakes Leather Alliance Weekend – our step-aside weekend as Great Lakes Master/slave. Very mixed feelings about that coming up so quickly… feels like time has flown by since last August.

Back to riding… I have kept (what I believe to be) an old biker tradition in my M/s relationship. Although I own (and claim ownership) to all of our things, including Angie’s things – the one thing that she is allowed to “own” is the backseat of my bike. The “old lady’s right”, at least that’s how I learned it from bikers I knew. Who knows if it’s bullshit or not, but I like it. So I gave it to her.

The fun part, for me, is to watch the hell or fun she’ll put another woman through who wants to ride with me. I’m a sadist like that.

Angie’s a great backseat rider too… knows how to handle herself and knows how to ride. We get to rolling and it’s just like the world is outside a bubble for us on the bike.

This year has been amazing, once-in-a-lifetime, but there are a couple of things I’m looking forward to getting back next spring/summer… riding time is one of them.
