We’re giving Cozi (http://www.cozi.com) a try as an organization tool. With the ToDo list, shopping list, messaging and calendars, it has a lot in one place. The trick will be to learn how we can use it and how we’ll adapt it to our schedule. That’s always the part of tools that I find interesting… do we (generic we) adapt our lives to the tools, or do we adapt how we use our tools (or the tools themselves) to our lives? We’ve definitely adapted our lives to be GooglePeople – between the choices in phones/tablets and way we have our communication – if TheGoogle had a Cozi-like interface, I’d stick with that no problem. But Google Keep (lists), Google Calendar and it’s still poorly implemented to-do list just sit in their own places.
We returned home late last night and did a “fall into bed” thing again. Challenge of being on the road and trying to blog daily. The trip was needed on many levels though, in connecting and feeling each other and being in the moment with each other. I shared a couple of hours last night with a wonderful woman who just inspires me with her strength, her openness and her spirituality. The conversation was so uplifting and so silly at times, as the best conversations are. It was a good weekend, and I want to note that for myself, because this is going to be a tough week. In 5 days, we step aside at the Great Lakes Master/slave titleholders and welcome in new titleholders. GLLA is this coming weekend. This is going to be a roller-coaster of emotions for us, and I have to work 10 hour days this week as well, so I will be tired – a lot. I’ll use the good energy from the weekend to propel me onwards… sleep when we’re dead!
And so it begins…
