[M/s 365] Slave’s prayer beads

20140903_210925-1Another tip from the recently passed Master/slave conference…

This tip also came from Laura Antoniou’s “Overcoming Obstacles” class – advising slaves to have some sort of mantra or “go to” mechanism to help when the going gets tough and a slave needs a way to reconnect with their motivation, their spirit.

Slave angie has used mantras in the past for just that reason, but at the silent auction, I saw this wonderful set of beads, which made me think of the Rosary, which led me to think of angie’s spirituality and her Catholic upbringing.

So, she now has a set and we have been talking about how she might use them. A physical connection to have during meditation or mantras, to help connect her and give her a focus, similar to how we’ve used the candle or how she rubs the Tree of Life pendant on her collar.

    1. Thank you! We’re still chewing on what this looks like, but it also might be something as-needed when she (or when I want her to) does it. Sometimes, when I want her to focus, I’ll put her in a position, but both position and beads … very powerful magic could happen.

  1. I’m late to this party, but it’s been a few months – can you share if /how this has been implemented? We’re also Catholic, so the concept is familiar, but I’m really curious about the application.

    1. Carla, It was kind of left up to me how to use them, Mostly it seems i will carry them around when I miss Master and sometimes remind myself of place and just feel His words and centering 🙂
